In Nowhere Arcane Bloom addresses the state of our society and world, how we live in almost dystopian times and keep doing nothing about it. This is shown perfectly by the last line of the song “We’re the cancer of the earth and the lungs turn black” which is very self-explanatory. Musically the song gives space for the lyrics to reach the listener without disappearing the int background completely. The intro sets the tone for the whole songs with dominant drums which stays that way throughout the songs. With its almost dystopian tone the guitar underlines the message of the song perfectly. The song covers important themes, especially in times like these where money rules the world and fascists are at the top of politics taking away rights left and right for the purpose of showcasing power and benefitting themselves and “friends”. It’s a yell for us to do something about and rebel against this structure, to not give in and watch as our world slowly dies.
